Versatile vintage piece! Two uses in one piece. A brooch on one hand and dress clips on the other!
Here we have 1930s Art Deco duette dress clip and brooch set by costume jewelry designer, Coro.
These Duettes were popular during this time since the piece could be worn as a single brooch or separated into two dress clips.
The back of the brooch is marked, “Coro Duette” at the top and with Patent number 1798867 at the bottom. This patent was filed May 30, 1930. Each of the clips is marked with the Patent number 1852188 which was filed February 17th, 1931.
Excellent condition. Could use cleaning to brighten up rhinestones
